Nutella balls

These may not look like much, but they literally taste like Nutella! I just used hazelnuts, dates and cacao to make them and the results are amazing. You can make a huge batch and freeze them so you have snacks for a couple of weeks.


3 cups of hazelnuts

20 medajool dates

4 tbs raw cacao powder

½ tsp vanilla powder



Turn your oven up to 180 degrees. Lay your hazelnuts out on a tray and roast for around 20 minutes keeping an eye on them so they don’t burn.

Once they’re out and cooled down a bit, rub them with a towel or with your hands so the brown outer skin comes off, and you’re left with just the white part.

Pour the nuts and the rest of the ingredients into a food processor and blitz. After 20-30 seconds everything will start to come together. You may need to add a splash of water to help the process along.

Roll them out into balls. Keep in the fridge and try not to eat them all at once.
