Banana & Chocolate Crepes
Chocolate and banana crepes! Absolutely obsessed with this recipe. I’ve made these so many time and finally written up the recipe for you guys! The link to the blog is in the bio. You can top them with anything you fancy, but of course mine had to include nut butter
5tbs spelt flour
2 tbs cacao powder
1tsp baking powder
1/2 vanilla powder or 1 pod
Add everything into a blender and wiz on high speed for about 30 seconds until it’s all combined and smooth with no banana lumps.
Grease the pan with a little coconut oil and wait a few seconds for the pan to heat up. Add about 1/2 a ladle of the batter in the center of the pan and immediately move the pan around so the batter covers it.
After a minute, flip the pancake to cook the other side. Once it’s cooked, put to the side and repeat until all your batter is gone.
To serve, add 1tsp of almond butter and spread around the crepe. Then add a drizzle of maple syrup, banana and some Cacao nibs. Roll up and enjoy.
If you make a big batch, you can keep them in the fridge for a couple of days and reheat for breakfast.
